Compass Architekti

Compass architekti is team of young Slovak architects based in Bratislava.

Compass was founded in 2004 by Matej Grébert and Juraj Benetin as fresh graduates of the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology. Since the very beginning, they created a very complex portfolio of projects, from urbanism through offices to interiors, however, they mainly specialize in residential projects.

In the last five years alone, they designed almost four thousand flats mainly in Bratislava. The largest projects include residential project Slnečnice, which they have been working on for almost 16 years, reconstruction of a residential building on Miletičova 5, residential project Nový Ružinov, Urban Residence on Račianska street or Ahoj Park. In late 2016, they won the tender for revitalization of the whole area of the former Cvernovka building in Bratislava, today called Zwirn. Currently, they are co-creators of the unique Vydrica development between the Bratislava Castle and the river Danube.
