Delta Sky Club, Austin
CBRE Design created a space for guests at Delta Sky Club, Austin that give a variety of dynamic environments for work and relaxation in style using unique patterns and materials.
The design philosophy revolved around creating a space in which patrons of all backgrounds can cultivate their own experience in a warm and open environment with “universal” flexibility. The club supports a variety of lounge styles with a landscape of furniture settings to encourage discoverability, socialization, relaxation, and mobile working.
The design is timeless and sophisticated with natural finishes juxtaposed against sleek elements. Detailed architectural components create connectivity between the different amenity zones within the club. Each location was developed with a custom pattern created with layered panels of laser cut aluminum design to add more depth and texture to each scene.
The striking full-service bar with a custom 170-bottle refrigerated curved glass tower serves as a feature backdrop for the club. Above the bar, the reflectiveness of the glass provides a feeling of added height and transparency. The dining area features bold patterned quartz stone counters, creating a statement display fitting for a menu featuring the tastes of Texas. A richness is developed by using materials that communicate with each other in similar pattern and finish to various surfaces.
