Studio Grey was tasked with giving the Minneapolis Hostel a comfortable environment to feel like a chic home away from home.

    • The goal at Minneapolis Hostel was to create a budget friendly but impactful refresh on this 1900’s home in south Minneapolis, which sits adjacent to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. This project challenged the design team to use thrift stores to their advantage. The interior evolution went from drab and dark to moody and fresh, an environment with unique accessories that spark a conversation and relate back to the site’s midwestern roots.
