Hamilton’s Restaurant
Hamilton’s restaurant in Detroit pays tribute to Hamilton Carhartt’s legacy with a design by Groundswell Design Group and Neumann/Smith Architecture featuring high ceilings and warm wood tones.
Hamilton’s, nestled within The Godfrey Detroit, stands in homage to the legacy of Hamilton Carhartt, whose factory once thrived on this historic site.
Spanning nearly 3,700 square feet, the restaurant offers seating for 93 guests indoors, complemented by an outdoor patio accommodating an additional 38 patrons.
The design accentuates the 14-foot ceilings, harmonizing warm wood tones with contrasting cool color palettes. Key design elements include intricate millwork, refined walnut accents, antique brass fixtures, plush tufted furniture, mosaic tile flooring, and quartzite and quartz tabletops.
Details including custom statement lighting create an immersive dining experience that honors Carhartt’s legacy and celebrates the vibrant history of Corktown.
