Thai Thai Restaurant
Thai Thai Restaurant, located in Wrocław’s historic Hieronimus building, blends Thai inspiration with natural materials to create an elegant, cozy interior harmonizing with the Old Town surroundings, by Grupa Malaga.
Thai Thai Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the monumental, historic building called “Hieronimus,” which was built in 1911 in the very heart of Wrocław’s Old Town.
The design concept itself was inspired by two main ideas:
Thailand—its culture, symbols, nature, and cuisine. We drew from this inspiration our love for natural materials such as stone, wood, and lush greenery. The goal was to create a living, natural cave filled with life and spectacular rock formations, all forming a unique ecosystem.
The location—Wrocław’s Old Town is known for its elegant atmosphere and historic buildings. The neighboring structures, such as the Ground Oper House, the famous Monopol Hotel, and other historical landmarks, called for an interior design that would complement and harmonize with the surroundings.
The restaurant consists of several zones, each ensuring privacy, coziness, and comfort. Different seating arrangements offer a variety of experiences, all designed to provide comfort, privacy, and a sensual ambiance.
One of the essential decorative elements of the interior is the lighting, which is designed across multiple planes. Additionally, rhythmic details accentuate these lighting features.
The background plays a vital role in the overall design. Here, natural slate stone, textured black granite, and curtains with a theatrical character add depth and texture.
The tables are made of natural stone and wood, complemented by elegant and comfortable chairs from B&B Italia.
Natural materials, a play of light, a limited color palette, and living greenery—this is our recipe for a cozy, discreet, and elegant interior.
