Tora Tora
Leftfield Studio’s Tora Tora in Richmond, Australia, elegantly melds warmth and precision through a refined palette, clean lines, and intentional design, embodying the essence of Japanese simplicity for a tranquil dining experience.
Richmond’s newest Sando and coffee bar strikes a delicate balance between warmth and precision. Anchored by a deep burgundy ceiling and soft pink tiled counters, the space is wrapped in a thoughtful palette of oak timber, muted concrete, and subtle green joinery. Clean lines and uncluttered forms nod to Japanese design principles — where simplicity, material honesty, and calm functionality take the lead. From the curved counter forms to the rhythmic bar seating and softly textured walls, every detail is intentional. The result is a space that feels both refined and grounded — designed for quiet moments, good coffee, and beautifully crafted Sandos.
