Marriott at Irvine Spectrum
A design by MONOGRAM at BBGM inspired by the spirit of Aliso Viejo, the Marriott at Irvine Spectrum is reminiscent of farms and ranches within the modern context of present day Irvine.
R.D. Olson Development tapped MONOGRAM Hospitality Interiors at BBGM for interior design of the all-new Marriott at Irvine Spectrum. Located in Irvine, California, the Spectrum Center is a unique development that includes destination dining and entertainment, serving as a cultural epicenter for Orange County. The hotel will include 271 tech-savvy rooms, over 9,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space, outdoor event space, a rooftop terrace and an expansive pool and spa.
The new Marriott hotel, now under construction, draws on the spirit of Aliso Viejo for design inspiration. Rich and abundant rolling hills and open natural spaces lend a nostalgic feel to the interior design. Bygone days of farms and ranches are traced over with a modern context and sensibility for open spaces, authentic materials and warm, weathered textures. Classic patterns, outdoor connections and a neutral canvas blend for a “ranch recall” in the public spaces, paying homage to the history of the region while incorporating modern artwork and fixtures.
