AZA Law Firm Event & Conference Center
Abel Design Group was given the task of creating the AZA Law Firm Event & Conference Center to match the feel of their existing office and the team’s strong reputation.
AZA Law (AZA) is a growing Houston based trial law firm. Having built their reputation as “talented, tough and court-room tested” high stakes litigators on behalf of their multinational corporate clients, AZA wanted an edgy aesthetic to their office that would reflect the brand. Headquartered in prime downtown Houston real estate the office is dramatic, utilizing stark contrasts of black and white, light and dark.
Tasked with creating a hospitality area to entertain clients, employees, and guests, the design team set out to design a space with the same level of edge and drama that the rest of the office features, yet also be unique and special unto itself. The resulting space functionally serves a variety of needs from back-of-house catering area, serving space for food and drink, and room to mingle with cocktail tables and barstools.
For day-to-day needs there is a room that can be sub-divided into two conference rooms or combined for larger all company meetings and even mock trials. The two halves, hospitality and meeting can be used individually or combined by sliding away the curved raw steel panels that separate them and opening the entire area for large gatherings. A heavy dark on dark space punctuated by an expansive custom polished gold light fixture. the theme of light and dark contrast is presented in a bold and eye-catching way.
