Gather Coffee
WGNB used bold sculptures and minimal colors to create a strong and unique look for Gather Coffee where everything feels like a piece of art.
We started designing by thinking about the general exhibition design in galleries.
The artworks are hung on the wall or displayed in an acrylic or glass box. It is common to keep the distance between the artwork and the person for protecting artworks or for making it visible at a glance.
We came to the idea that art pieces could be spatial elements such as structure.
We thought artworks could get closer to people physically in a way that an artwork turns into a wall or furniture like a chair in the cafe.
In terms of material, we use durable and practical materials like metal and stone since the cafe is a place where people continue to use them while artworks in a gallery are made of fragile and delicate materials.
