Studio Grey utilized the historic elements of an existing building to give Handsome Hog Restaurant a moody and eclectic design for their St. Paul space.

    • Handsome Hog is a contemporary Southern restaurant serving a pig-centric menu with a bourbon focused cocktail list. The interior of Handsome Hog showcases the original brick arched windows of the historic building and ties in new elements like sleek copper countertops and custom burned wood. The small narrow footprint was a design challenge so the kitchen was moved to the basement to allow for a larger bar presence and created a unique dining spot for optimal park views. The eclectic design style mixed with a moody bar and smoky barbecue menu makes for a comfortable yet edgy aesthetic.
