We Coffee Cafe Liberdade

We Coffee is a coffee shop with an Asian influence, with personalized products and a diverse menu of authentic coffees, teas, sweets and snacks.

For its first store in Brazil, located in the Liberdade neighborhood in São Paulo, we provided an immersive, minimalist and contemporary space, translating the brand’s language into space and thus creating the concept of the store network.

Located in a region with a high density of simultaneous information happening around it, the proposal for the first We Coffee store in Brazil uses the counterpoint of its immediate surroundings, a minimalist and visual breath in the heart of Liberdade. Understanding the constraints and directions of pre-existence was a preponderant factor for the design approach.

With self-made products, we brought a neutral language with identity to the space, in order to value the final product, which has its striking colors and textures. On the upper floor, zenith openings in the ceiling suggest a look at the sky, which during the day brings natural light and at night these same openings also include artificial light in backlit planes.

A large monolithic floor unfolds to create seating plans, organizing the environment with different types of use, always complemented by the brand’s golden details. We provide several ways to sit, whether in groups, couples or individually, enriching the user experience.

We designed a complete industrial kitchen, with refrigeration, preparation and finishing areas, keeping the finalization process of sectored products close to the public’s view, so that they can share this manual work process, and enrich the experience of those who visit the space.
