  • The beauty of flow over time is a characteristic of classical Chinese architecture, which often forms complex structural groups with simple geometric units, and the continuity of space unfolds in the extension of time. This spatial experience achieves through the art of lines.

This project stands in Bengbu, which is known as the pearl city in the Huai River Basin in China. Inspired by the river, with the design philosophy of pure line beauty in Chinese aesthetics, LDH DESIGN creates a circuitous and joyful space through the twists, meanders, growth, and strength of the line, rendering the mood of the feast.

Such a spatial experience with smoothness, barriers, changes, and surprises, just like “a village shaded in willows and flowers”, is the architectural beauty pursuit by the ancient Chinese who are close to the natural mountains and woods.
