Pobre Restaurant
The Pobre restaurant in Helsinki is a casual Spanish-Filipino eatery with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, featuring a design by KOKO3.
“Pobre is above all about soulfulness,” said Justin, the restaurateur, almost casually, when we first met and talked about this project. And that’s what this casual Spanish-Filipino restaurant is all about – warm-hearted, friendly, easy, and welcoming.
Here the evenings are wrapped in the earthy tones of clay and sand, and the eye discovers the repetition of grid patterns that take the mind to somewhere long… across all those oceans. Pobre´s chefs deliver a fusion of Spanish and vibrant Filipino influences with fresh ingredients from land and sea.
