  • Nami is Tavistock Restaurant Collection’s new high-end restaurant housed in the lower level of Lake Nona’s sophisticated The Wave Hotel in Orlando. ‘Nami,’ the Japanese word for ‘wave,’ has a unique concept focusing on Nikkei cuisine, which is a blending of the culinary traditions of Peru and Japan. Just like that distinctive pairing, the design concept is truly remarkable. The dramatic interior features sculpted wood ceilings, large-scale murals, and plush furnishings. An instant world-class dining experience, upon entering this modern restaurant, guests feel as though they could be in any cosmopolitan city in the world, from London to Singapore.

A balance of the senses, the design of Nami is an intimate and immersive experience where the appeal to every emotion is intentional. Nodding to traditional Japanese design through precision, simplicity, and authenticity, a warm palette of gold leaf, wood tones, silky Japanese Maple trees, and moody murals by Dean Barger becomes an edited theatrical backdrop to this transportive experience.
