  • Location Hong Kong, China,
  • Drawing inspiration from the profound words of the renowned novel “The Time Keeper” and its evocation of the notion of “living in the moment,” our architectural vision for the shop design embraces the concept of “Sunset in the Desert.” This concept seeks to encapsulate the fleeting nature of cherished memories, akin to the transient beauty of a setting sun.

The exterior embraces a gradient palette, carefully juxtaposing tiles, metal cladding, and textured paint. The design capturing the allure of a sunset. A semi-opened area, framed by an arch reminiscent of a cave, has been designated for takeaways and coffee breaks. Two distinct brick walls: a slanted red brick have been arranged to form an awe-inspiring depiction of sand dunes and a perforated brick wall allows the interplay of natural light and the surrounding neighborhood. A curved ceiling hovers above the open kitchen, adding a further layer of visual intrigue to the space.
