The Meat & Wine Co. African Queen
COOOP designed the Meat & Wine African Queen restaurant in Sydney, drawing inspiration from the site’s historical context and the building’s Art Deco roots for a meaningful experience.
The Meat & Wine African Queen is a 160 seater restaurant and bar located in an Old Art Deco building, originally the premises of the Bank of Sydney. The design story and development was informed by clues from the site itself and all the macro location of the street and the historical context of the area in order to develop a strong meaningful restaurant and entertainment experience beyond the food itself.
