Starlight Casino
Kasian has designed the expanded Starlight Casino in Edmonton with a variety of lighting, color, and ambiance in order to physically incorporate the Starlight brand within the space.
With more than 124,000 square feet proposed for the renovation and addition of Starlight Casino at West Edmonton Mall, Gateway Casino leveraged the opportunity to elevate the Starlight brand through a luxurious, high-end interior design and modernized exterior design. Looking to the cosmos, Kasian created a design concept that embodied the meaning of ‘starlight’ — colour through light in different forms — based on a journey through the galaxies.
The expansion of the existing casino creates a destination entertainment space featuring new dining experiences, branded restaurants, bar lounges, VIP gaming, and a supper club. Use of varying lighting levels, ambiance, and floods of colour provide visual queues denoting the areas within the two levels of the open space, while the finish selection reflects the shimmering and sparkling characteristic of Starlight.
