  • The idea of crafting a space that evoked the brand’s ideals and soul was the starting point for the proposal which translated into a vibrant and colorful experience that feels comfortable to be around. A space as fresh and unique as the ice cream flavors, that exudes the brand’s bold personality.

The reduced space was optimized by creating two moments for the experience. First, the shopping, takes place around a freestanding ice cream showcase freezer alongside a topping counter. Then the Enjoying moment, takes place in the front window table, or in the side nook. Both with custom terrazzo tables that follow round shapes.

By working around the brand’s famous colors, but in multiple applications in materiality, such as ceramics, cement tiles, terrazzo and metal, the office was able to deliver a bold yet friendly personality for the shop. The soft pink shade that covers most of the surfaces of the walls and ceiling, served as the canvas for the green and yellow elements that complete the space.

The counter’s section was designed in green terrazzo countertops, melamine made structure with a green polyurethane paint on the front face, that sit on -made in site- bases cladded with custom green ceramic tile. Also, a custom menu was placed on the counter’s backing, made with plywood pieces with laser engraved letters. Finally, the bar table was designed with metal made structures and terrazzo surfaces for the stools and tables and the nook has made in site bench covered with a green terrazzo top and also cladded in ceramic tile.

Lightning was thought to combine aesthetic and use. Every single lamp was designed by the studio and manufactured by local factories with imported led modules. This includes the custom enlightened ceiling inside the nook.
