LX at 425 Lexington Avenue
TPG Architecture transformed 425 Lexington Avenue’s underutilized floors into the state-of-the-art LX amenity center, offering premier tenants an unparalleled wellness experience through opulent design and cutting-edge facilities.
Established in 1992, Vanbarton Group is a privately owned real estate investment and advisory firm in New York City. Its office tower at 425 Lexington Avenue, located directly across from Grand Central, was built in 1987 and has since provided both grandeur and convenience for its premier tenants. Following a broader building renovation, which led to 425 Lexington’s achievement of LEED Gold certification, Vanbarton Group sought to complement the upgrades with an amenity center to suit. TPG Architecture transformed the tower’s underutilized, subterranean floors into the state-of-the-art LX.
Having partnered successfully with TPG Architecture in the past, Vanbarton Group re-engaged the New York City-based design firm to bring its idea for an unparalleled amenity experience to life. Intended to set 425 Lexington apart from neighboring buildings, LX is a private-to-tenants amenity center, complete with a cutting-edge fitness facility, locker rooms, lounge, conference center, and golf simulator. The premier offering was designed to cater specifically to the building’s tenancy and foster a holistic well-being experience throughout.
Stepping off the elevator, visitors are greeted by a perfect marriage between opulence and tranquility, crafted through the selection of premium finishes and high-end materials. Inside, a fitness hub, yoga studio, and personalized training areas come together to form a bespoke wellness experience. Further elevating the offerings for tenants is a state-of-the-art golf simulator designed to foster social interaction, facilitate client engagement, promote physical activity, and deliver awe-inspiring moments to those seeking relaxation and connection.
At the core of the amenity center is a multipurpose conference space, featuring leading-edge audiovisual capabilities, which readily transform the environment into a versatile presentation area. Its adaptability is amplified by the inclusion of flexible furniture to create different configurations, accommodating both large gatherings and relaxed lounge-style seminars, making it the ideal choice for various corporate events.
Every facet of LX, from the intricately designed fluted marble corridor to the vaulted wood ceiling, was meticulously crafted by the TPG team to evoke a refined and sophisticated atmosphere. It is a space that beckons tenants to come over; those who value excellence with its exclusive and tailored character.
As the landscape of the Grand Central neighborhood continues to evolve, and landlords redefine the parameters of luxury, this amenity center stands poised to elevate the value of 425 Lexington Avenue, setting it apart in a competitive real estate market.
