Toca Madera Restaurant
Toca Madera’s new Houston location offers a modern Mexican steakhouse experience with immersive design by Abel Design Group and Monochrome, featuring unique architectural elements and a biophilic aesthetic for a multi-sensory dining atmosphere.
Toca Madera Houston seamlessly blends immersive design with a commitment to sustainability, aligning with The Allen development’s high-performance, energy-efficient goals. Located on the first floor of a multi-story, mixed-use building, the project optimizes HVAC, mechanical, and ventilation systems to minimize energy use while maintaining guest comfort, complemented by integrated LED lighting and smart controls for efficient ambiance. Sustainable materials and durable finishes reduce environmental impact, while the signature Birdcage Enclosure features artificial greenery to eliminate irrigation needs. As a key anchor of The Allen Phase I, Toca Madera activates one of Houston’s most scenic corridors, bringing vibrancy, foot traffic, and architectural character to Allen Parkway. Its integration with the Thompson Houston Hotel enhances the city’s luxury hospitality offerings, while generating jobs and fostering collaboration among local architects, designers, engineers, and contractors. The result is a destination that elevates Houston’s cultural and economic landscape and sets a new standard for immersive, sustainable dining.
