Shivli Restaurant

The Shvili Georgian Restaurant, located in The Galleria, Abu Dhabi, masterfully blends Georgian heritage with contemporary design. The vision behind the space was to create a welcoming environment that reflects the warmth of Georgian hospitality while aligning with the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Abu Dhabi. Central to the design is biophilia, which connects the natural world with the interior, forming a tranquil dining oasis. The interior fit-out was executed by I2D Interior Décor LLC, transforming a 5,068-square-foot space into a vibrant, nature-infused setting.

The design takes inspiration from traditional Georgian architecture, using earthy colors like terracotta, beige, and green, alongside natural materials such as wood and stone. Lush greenery is incorporated throughout, with cascading plants and integrated planters adding to the organic atmosphere. Custom irrigation systems and carefully selected indoor plants help maintain this biophilic charm, even within the constraints of a mall environment. This seamless blend of nature and design creates a peaceful and aesthetically pleasing dining experience.

A striking green feature wall serves as the focal point of the restaurant, creating a calming ambiance. The open layout and flexible seating arrangements promote a communal dining atmosphere, while handcrafted Georgian ceramics and traditional art pieces infuse cultural authenticity into the space. The thoughtful design elements, such as custom wall panels and decorative lighting, enrich the overall atmosphere, making Shvili Georgian Restaurant not just a dining venue but an immersive cultural experience. Despite challenges in execution, I2D Interior Décor LLC’s attention to detail ensured a flawless and harmonious result.
