Hotel Kimpton Los Monteros

Cristina Carulla Studio has renovated the rooms of the iconic Hotel Kimpton Los Monteros in Marbella with a fresh and contemporary approach that pays homage to the eternal summer of the Costa del Sol. Inspired by the golden age and the retro aesthetics of the 70s, the project combines the charm of the past with a modern look, transmitting good atmosphere, warmth and sophistication.

The design invites guests to immerse themselves in a sensory experience that awakens memories and sensations linked to the sea, the pool and carefree days in the sun. References to the Mediterranean are present in every detail: natural materials (such as wood, ceramics, linen, raffia, bamboo and straw), soft shapes and a palette of bright colours that evoke the warm and luminous sunsets of the region.

The rooms, generously sized and overlooking lush gardens, balance modern and vintage through carefully selected pieces. Neutral walls, geometric furnishings, natural light effects and rugs custom-designed by the studio complete a set that breathes relaxed elegance and joy.
The corridors, conceived as small art galleries, total 1,180 m² and provide colour and visual orientation to each building through contemporary works that enrich the route and reinforce the identity of the place.

In total, 195 rooms have been renovated, divided into eight categories – Essential, Premium Terrace, Studio Suite Duplex Balcony, Studio Suite Terrace, One Bedroom Suite Terrace, Two Bedroom Suite, Los Monteros Suite and Marbella Suite – all designed to offer a casual luxury experience with its own identity.

With this intervention, the Hotel Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella is positioned as a destination that celebrates design, Mediterranean culture and the joyful and timeless lifestyle of the Costa del Sol.
