Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar
Graphite Design Group’s Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar in Oklahoma City masterfully merges hospitality with retail, creating an inviting, island-inspired destination that encourages connection and an immersive shopping experience.
As retailers nationwide grapple with changing consumer behaviors and the evolving role of brick-and-mortar, Tommy Bahama is charting a new course—one that blends hospitality, lifestyle, and experiential retail in a seamless and inviting way.
Working closely with Seattle-based architecture firm Graphite Design Group, Tommy Bahama’s newest Marlin Bar is more than a store—it’s a relaxed, island-inspired destination that invites customers to slow down, linger, and engage with the brand in an entirely new way. Combining casual dining, a full-service bar, and curated retail under one roof, the concept reflects Tommy Bahama’s ongoing commitment to redefining traditional retail with immersive, hospitality-driven experiences.
This concept comes at a time when consumers are craving connection and comfort. The Marlin Bar delivers both, giving shoppers a chance to sip, shop, and savor—all while stepping into the laid-back spirit of “island life” that’s central to the Tommy Bahama ethos.
Graphite is currently working on many new Tommy Bahama locations across the country, all of which showcase how retailers are reimagining physical stores as immersive, hospitality-infused destinations. It’s a model that speaks directly to today’s evolving consumer expectations, where experience, atmosphere, and emotional connection matter just as much as the product itself.
