Duemani Restaurant
Abel Design Group reimagined Duemani Restaurant in Denver, creating a captivating atmosphere with ocean-inspired elements that elevate dining into a memorable sensory experience while fostering repeat visits.
Duemani is a complete reimagining of an existing coastal Mediterranean restaurant, designed by Abel Design Group to transform the space into a destination as memorable as its menu. The renovation introduced a light, fresh atmosphere in the main dining room and a moody, intimate ambiance in the private wine room, now branded as The Cove. The scope included master planning, branding, concept development, interior design, art and uniform selection, furniture curation, and construction administration.
Design highlights include ocean-inspired tile floors, textural wall coverings, sculptural light fixtures, and custom leather wine storage. The Cove features dark blue millwork, cowhide panels, and antique mirrors, offering a warm, inviting setting for private events. Despite a tight two-month timeline, limited budget, and coordination with out-of-town contractors, the team delivered the project on time. Duemani now offers a refined yet approachable dining experience, designed to drive repeat visits and serve as a model for future locations.
