Riverside Grille

Abel Design Group was engaged to renovate Riverside Grille, a new restaurant located in a historic building in the heart of downtown Beaumont, Texas. The goal was to create a venue that celebrates the character of Beaumont’s past while offering a modern, elevated dining experience.

The design combines sophisticated detailing with warm, inviting elements to establish a memorable atmosphere. Key spaces include the host station, dining room, bar, exterior, and patio, each crafted to enhance flow and functionality while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The dining room is anchored by a large fish tank on one end and an open kitchen on the other, providing guests with both visual drama and transparency into the culinary experience. Custom wood millwork, detailed lighting, and elegantly curved and ribbed features further elevate the interior.

Stunning chandeliers draw the eye upward in the dining room, while the bar and host station required careful problem-solving to achieve both operational efficiency and design elegance. Together, these focal points set the tone for a guest experience that blends modern comfort with historic charm.

Riverside Grille’s ambiance is designed to be as exceptional as its food, with standout touches such as freshly baked bread served daily adding to the welcoming environment.
