  • Estúdio Naia, led by architects Samuel Cury and Dayane Rosseto, designed the newest location of Armazém Churrascada at Cidade Jardim Shopping Mall. Situated within the premium urban setting of the Men’s House space, the project reinterprets the imagery of the countryside, combining rustic references with a contemporary language to create a welcoming atmosphere.

The concept builds upon Churrascada’s established identity, reimagined through a more exclusive operation. Open to the public, the new venue expands the brand’s presence in São Paulo by focusing on premium cuts, attentive service, and an environment designed to encourage longer stays, aligned with the profile of Cidade Jardim.

The architectural project translates this positioning through its material palette. Reclaimed wood, slate, and leather form the foundation of the space and define its visual identity. The reclaimed peroba-rosa wood preserves the marks of time and reinforces the sense of memory embedded throughout the interior, while the slate-chip flooring introduces texture and an organic pattern across the dining area. Leather is incorporated into the furniture and construction details, contributing to the overall cohesion of the design.

The restaurant’s concept sought to highlight natural elements and materials rich in history. A curated selection of objects references traditional Brazilian general stores, incorporating utensils and decorative pieces that enhance the emotional dimension of the space without compromising its contemporary character.

A central feature of the project, the large illuminated shelving unit organizes the dining room and establishes a focal point within the space. The design was conceived to evoke memories and references to rural life through the display of small objects and utensils, creating a more subtle connection to this visual repertoire.

The result is a space that preserves the essence of the brand while adapting to the specific configuration of the venue and the profile of Cidade Jardim Shopping. It offers a dining experience connected to materiality, memory, and the creation of a warm and inviting atmosphere.
