Rozzi’s – Chadstone Shopping Centre

Located within a mall with heavy foot traffic, Corso Interior Architecture realized a striking and unique backdrop for the Italian fixings of Rozzi’s located in Chadstone, Australia.

  • area / size 1,292 sqft
  • Year 2018
  • Location Chadstone, Australia,
  • Type Restaurant,
  • Rozzi’s is located on a corner site within the fashion capital, Chadstone Shopping Centre.

With a high volume of pedestrian traffic it was vital that the food display presented on the mall line. Corso Interior Architecture created a prominent backdrop with the inclusion of an arc baffled ceiling sculpture. The sculpture mimics the semi open kitchen screen & provides the focal point of the interior. The ceiling sculpture assists with sound reverberation.

In conjunction with the arches, carefully selected textures were added through the use of tile layering, timber veneers, planting & patterned floors.

The custom-made centred communal table is wrapped by banquette seats to ensure all dining options are well positioned & that each and every location feels the same as one another.

The solution to make this pop from mall by introducing a large arc sculpture, the glass wall behind also included a large arm to mimic the ceiling.

The brief was to make a statement from this corner site and to ensure the food was ‘grab and go’ feel on the lease line – The seating space, whilst around the corner of the cite, must feel like part of the fit out so customers could walk right in. The client wanted an outdoor garden feel.
