Amsterdam’s famed Pulitzer Amsterdam is a historic hotel of twenty-five canal houses with over 400 years of heritage. Bringing you quintessential Dutch elegance and style and blending modern and traditional influences, the design concept is inspired by a contemporary twist on the elegant gables of Amsterdam’s canal houses, which give the city its unique skyline and architecture.
Rooms & Suites
Enjoy a retreat in the heart of the city. No two rooms or suites are the same, each balances Amsterdam’s rich past and contemporary present in an eclectic mix of finishes, designs and elements which complement each room’s individual charm. In this home away from home guests can enjoy the use of free WiFi, a vintage telephone and Le Labo amenities. They have delightful views of canals, gardens or courtyards.
Restaurant Jansz
The unique space was once home to the 17th century craftsman Volkert Jansz: a man with discerning taste, a keen eye for style, and a passion for scintillating conversation and debate. He embraced the finer things in life, but also believed that decadence and luxury was more enjoyable when shared.
Pulitzer Amsterdam’s restaurant demonstrates the hotel’s deep passion for elegant culinary craftsmanship. Jansz is a quietly elegant neighborhood restaurant with an easy-going Dutch attitude. The menu features beautifully crafted modern classics that respect the simplicity of quality produce and ingredients.
Pulitzer’s Bar
The glamour of the long lost times enters the modern day at the Pulitzer’s Bar. This timeless hotel bar tells a contemporary tale of cocktail history through a classic menu and an effortlessly elegant atmosphere.
The interior captures the accessible elegance of an old school hotel bars in a monumental Amsterdam building with its own entrance at the Keizersgracht. Once could easily flee the bustly of the city, yet overlook its signature canals, in one of the comfortable armchairs or talk the night away at the impressive Art Deco style bar.
