    • Nestled on a quiet side street, off a busy road that leads to the beating heart of Sydney, THE COLLECTIONIST sits unassuming alongside gentrified warehouses, revived terraces and new apartments in one of Sydney soldest urban suburbs.But looks can be deceiving. Don’t judge a book by its cover etc etc. It’s what’s inside that will set it apart.

    THE COLLECTIONIST will be a truly unique experience. A boutique hotel, just 39 rooms, designed by four of Sydney most exciting boutique design firms. Each room different, each room telling it’s own story

    The Collectionist pushes the concept of individualized patron experiences tone wheights in Sydney’s inner west. Each of the 39 guest rooms within this boutique hotel (a former warehouse) are collaboratively designed by four creative studios and 13 artists, of which YSG devised 10 eclectic suites.Budget restraints dictated innovative solutions including trope l’oeil details suggestive of marble surfaces and theatrical flourishes plus gingham patterns. Underfoot, custom carpets evoke majestic palazzo floors for a regal landing.
