  • The latest bistro in the North Loop of Minneapolis is Nolo’s Kitchen. The food and design concepts were interwoven from the project’s inception. A small menu of comfort food enjoyed in a bright and modern kitchen. This idea of being comfort and quality were key themes in the design.

The restaurant finds its home in a North Loop landmark, the Gardner Hardware Building. This old warehouse building shell becomes a key character in the interior design expression.

The lounge waiting area is rich and comfortable and is a place you want to be in while you wait for a table. The design of this space allows the people waiting to get a great view of the street life on Washington Avenue as they have a cocktail. Connecting to its iconic past and moving forward with a design that is warm and bright Nolo’s Kitchen is the next best thing to being at home.
